Posted - 11/11/2011 : 5:55:58 PM it seems like there is less feedback on here when it gets cold, does that mean nudist put clothes back on and hibernate, or is everyone on vacation. when it gets cold out i try to stay nude inside and turn heat up a little and scout the internet for places i can be nude, hike nude or take the kayak nude. when the ship floats in $$ probably upside down i would like to head south for a few days maybe apollo or haulover, neddless to say lets not dress or hibernate this winter. |

Posted - 12/16/2011 : 12:13:12 PM You are so lucky Sailawaybob to have such good weather. Today we had our first snow of the winter and temperatures of 1 - 2 celcius. I looked at my atlas the other week and found that the latitude here in North Wales is the same that passes through Newfoundland. there they cope with snow without a problem. Here put an inch on the ground and the whole place grinds to a halt. Never mind, the wood burner is blazing away so nudity is near enough essential
Spread the word.. nude is best. Bob.. |

Posted - 12/14/2011 : 11:06:02 PM today it was 70f outside and i was inside housecleaning and doing laundry and by the time i finished the sun had past over my back porch and chaise lounge or i would have caught a few rays, not bad for the middle of december. |

Posted - 12/09/2011 : 03:20:27 AM I've often wondered about nudists hibernating also. I was kind of surprised when the postings just about stopped when it got colder. It wasn't just this site, all of the nudist sites. I figured it would get busier with everyone being inside for the colder weather. I'm in an old house so naked time is limited in the winter, even with the heat turned up. I still check N-R, Netnude and Iowanudists every week. I'm usually nude. Sometimes, like now, I've got a t-shirt and socks on.

Posted - 11/25/2011 : 6:40:14 PM since i am retired and this year was especially warm i think i have spent more time nude than dressed and once you get into the habir of something it is hard to break,i just think ther is not much sense in being dressed if you don't need to be and it definately cuts down on the laundry. if there was a full time nudist town in the states i would neve dress ( yes but San Francisco is to $$$) and it would have to be in a warm southern climate. |

Posted - 11/23/2011 : 6:37:26 PM True.. a lot of people are what I would call "fair weather" nudists. Even in Southern CA where we live there are a few months in the winter that are not all that warm. Nov-Feb usually..with a few warmer days here and there. It just depends how important it is to you to be naked. For us we do what it takes in the winter months to remain clothes free. Heat house, pool, spa etc. Usually take a trip to warmer pastures like Florida and/or Hawaii during the winter. But even when the budgets too tight for that we at leased are blessed to have a heated home with a big fireplace. Which will be in use tomorrow for sure for a clothes free Thanksgiving with our entire family.

Posted - 11/22/2011 : 11:10:04 AM Hi, I think it may be the opposite. If the warm season is when people are on vacation, then perhaps they have more time to spend here. When it gets cold and schools open again, there is less time for everything. In any case, I don't hibernate, I'm nude at home even in winter. |

Posted - 11/18/2011 : 11:58:34 AM I don't hibernate but its too cold here to go naked. We have wind, snow, and teen degrees. Going outside takes a shirt, sweater, coat, hat, gloves... Even indoors we don't keep the place very warm due to the cost of heat. A flannel shirt and sweat pants feels more comfortable this time of year. Not hibernating, but no stories of fun naked activities to share.
I've been sitting here planning a naked bike ride next summer when the snow melts. |

Posted - 11/17/2011 : 10:28:03 PM ok only one other response but 135 looks so it's good to see we nudist don't hibernate, at home i try to stay nude 24/7 and will wear only a t-shirt or cover with a blanket and luckily even in november i have had a few day that i could still lay out and sunbathe. |

Posted - 11/11/2011 : 7:13:09 PM I still like to be nude at home even though the temperature is starting to really go down. In fact I play golf with short sleeves, whereas everyone around me is in jackets and sweaters. My husband tells everyone that I have an inside central heating. Anyway, we are heading for Haulover Beach for the end of November. It will be our second time. I would like to check Apollo in March may be. Do you have a hotel around it, and where is it exactly. Thank you
