Look I would totally understand if anyone wanted to PM me about this. Well any way I got this invite from my girlfriend to go to this nudist ***** I won't say what it is or where simply because I hadn't quite made my mind up even if I want to go. Look I am the kinda guy who likes to be totally informed before they go anywhere new. Okay I am also shy and a bit bashful. Expect for a few things mentioned in other forums. Lets just say it was a lot about open sex in an exercise area in a fully adult resort that is all I could find period. Look there is no way I am ready for that. I just want to know the truth that's all.

Sorry I used the term "Strip Club." I meant "Crack House." ;-)

Wow, suggesting a guy just stay open-minded and go someplace with his girlfriend elicits a response about the guy surrendering his morals?

He DID say it was his girlfriend, not someone he picked up at a strip club. I haven't heard a single report of any guys getting robbed and raped at US nudist resorts; even the "adult" ones. Jeez, Carmen, sounds like things are pretty rough in Peru.

Since someone asked about the filter, here is the explanation again.

A couple of years ago, it became apparent that a firm line was needed to be drawn between those resorts and destinations that strive to maintain a family friendly reputation, and those that do the opposite.

Sometimes a resort has the word "nudist" right in the name, but the nudist philosophy of maintaining an environment focused on natural, non-sexual nudism had been long abandoned.

Some of our members were posting honest trip reports, that with the resulting discussions in some cases simply became advertisements for free open sex on resort grounds. If honesty means we must actively support wife-swapping clubs in the name of nudism, then that honesty must be replaced with silence.

So, when you see someone trying to post about - - - , you'll know it's one of the places from which we have withdrawn all support of any kind. Usually, such a place makes it easy for us to make the determination by boldly posting on their website that they are "lifestyle friendly". We've found that this is usually code for, "Do whatever you want, our security will not be present to interfere."

That's definitely NOT a nudist resort, and doesn't belong in these pages.

And it's agreed, we're not sure what having an AANR emblem on a club's website is supposed to guarantee these days. This is one reason we started this forum. If a destination is being discussed openly here, it is probably okay, safe for families and without unpleasant surprises, but you must still do your own research.

"Count your lucky stars and just go"????

What, a man should surrender any sense of dignity, morals and personal preferences just because a woman invited him to get naked with her in public?

Really? We have THAT far to go as a society?

I guess the more pertinent question is why I am surprised.

FWIW sometimes a girl can invite a guy to a pretty enticing event, only to find out that she was a front for something far more sinister. Happens all the time here in Peru, where young girls entice unsuspecting tourists into muggings, rapes, kidnapping or murder by their male handlers. Now, if she's a girlfriend, that's unlikely to happen of course, but one shouldn't "count their lucky stars" whenever a female asks you somewhere exciting.

"Anything that can be done, can be done better while nude."

You've got a girlfriend inviting YOU to a nudist venue and you're not sure? Count your lucky stars and just go. If you don't like the scene, tell her you'll pick the next resort.

***** might also mean...party!

Party, beach, resort...

What really goes on there? Depends on who's there, where it is and the crowd it's intended for.

Most naturist/nudist venues are quite "G" rated. Anything and everything that goes on, out in the open in view of everyone else, is suitable for families and children.

It is possible to witness someone acting inappropriately but I haven't seen lots of it and when we have...we spoken up and they either stopped or left.

From what I gather from your post, you've been invited to go to this place by your nudist girlfriend, you looked the place up on the internet and you found adult activity on the website? If that's true and you're bothered by it...don't go.

Tell your girlfriend to find another place more "G" rated and you'll try that but not the other. Once you've witnessed what goes on at a typical nudist/naturist venue, you'll understand more what goes on there and believe me...it's NO different than any other place where people wear clothes...except, it's a lot more fun!

The censor filter is making this thread incomprehensible. I have no idea what the OP was invited to, and my imagination is running overtime. If it's something from the HOSTEL movie, I'd say pass. If it's Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory in the nude, then I say go for it.

And (off topic, I know, but bear with me) I wish we'd stop this ridiculous myth that "AANR sanctioned" events or places are somehow safe from freaky behavior. Anyone or any organization that pays taxes to Caesar (a/k/a AANR) can do whatever they want. (Back on topic now)... directing the OP to an AANR approved place is no guarantee they would avoid... well, whatever it is the censor filter is hiding from me.

i'm not sure what ***** is but i would presume you mean nudist reort or beach, if it's a nudist resort go online and read about it and if it's a beach more than likely you will see nudist and if someone is doing something inappropriate someone will stop them or call the athorities. i've been to numberous nudist resort and management frowns on it as most have children at them. you should consider yourself lucky a million guys would love to have a girlfriend that is a nudist.

I've been to several nudist resorts and never seen anything inappropriate. I've been to several nude beaches and seen a couple of things I wish I hadn't, but I'm sure that had nothing to do with them being "nude" and the same behavior or worse would be found on a textile beach. There are resorts that cater to hedonistic behaviour and if you are not into that sort of thing, avoid them. Generally speaking an AANR or TNS approved resort will have inappropriate behaviour vetted out.

I have found, there are two classes of nudists. One group is generally morally sound and completely disapproves of inappropriate sexual behaviour at beaches and resorts and thinks it detracts from a real naturist experience. I tend to agree. There is another group that uses nudity and nudism for a pretense for sexual adventures and swinging. I'm finding more resorts are starting to cater to these groups, trying to attract more business. For me it is disappointing to see this happening because it is reducing the places where those of us who aren't interested in voyeurism, swinging or illicit sex can go. I think it is also giving naturism a black eye and gives those who are against social nudity ammunition against what we are doing. We all get tarred with the same brush.

So if your GF has invited you to go to a resort, google it online and see if it is an AANR or TNS affiliated club. Ask you GF what she knows about it. Get informed and decide for yourself if it is where you want to go.

Naturism, without the swinging and inappropriate sexual behaviour, is fantastic. I'm a christian who has embraced naturism and has introduced it to my wife, 4 of my 5 children and 2 of my grandchildren. I wouldn't have done that if it were something that involved deviant behaviour.

Hope this helps

Cheers
