Posted - 09/19/2008 : 02:21:15 AM Today I was fishing nude on the Chattahoochee river and was caught twice by passing boaters, the first time they came around the bend in a motorboat, I actually thought it was the game warden and being to far from the boat I just crouched down in the cold water they slowed down and talked a few minutes then stated I bet thats cold than sped off. The water is pretty clear but i'm sure they confirmed their suspicions when they saw my shorts laying in my boat. The second was when a man and lady came from behind in a canoe, this time I was able to grab a towel and after we talked a few minutes they paddled on, I realized they had seen me nude for probably five or ten minutes so I threw the towel back in the boat. That when I came up with the idea of a loincloth, something simple as a tie or velcro strap with a cloth for the front and back which can be wrapped around the waist in seconds, it would be great for hiking, boating or leaving the beach without actually getting dressed and should be legal, sorry ladies haven't figured a easy coverup for the breast. |

Posted - 10/03/2008 : 6:28:29 PM I like the idea of the loin cloth. I've been 'accused' over the years for wearing one when jogging and doing yard work when some sort of mid-region cover is prudent or necessary.
Actually, the 'loin cloth' was a pair of short shorts whereby I took the side slits up to the waist strap, giving a loin cloth appearance. Felt like I was wearing nothing, but the essentials were covered.
When working nude around the acreage and yard, and former properties, these shorts were kept handy, just in case...... Several times I needed to pull them on quickly. Okay if bare footed, or even wearing light sandals. But work boots and rubber boots slowed me down, or on occasion, made it impossible to don the shorts quickly, if at all.
Hence, to improve speed and ease, and lessen em-bare-ass-ment, think I'll investigate making true loin cloths with a velcro-type waist band. Thanks for the idea (takes me a long time to figure out some solutions). Meanwhile, I'll continue to wear my short shorts pseudo-loin cloth (have several pair to wear-out).

Posted - 09/24/2008 : 5:53:40 PM It's a good, practical idea. For several years, I've used one of those tan-thru wraps for such quick-cover occasions. Add a couple snaps and you're good to go. It's light and easy to tote, and you don't even get inadvertent "loincloth tan lines" in the process! |

Posted - 09/23/2008 : 10:20:48 PM Today I was able to use my new loincloth on the river, I had been fishing for a couple hours when a saw a boat come around the bend, I was near my boat so I wrapped my loincloth around my waist and went back to fishing. The folks in the boat stopped across from me and started fishing, we soon began to talk about fishing and the river, my standing there wearing a hat and a loincloth which covered only my front and back but showed bare skin on both sides didn't faze them. The loincloth is made with 2-12x12 inch pieces of cloth with a scaly type brown and tan print tied off with a leather lace material. |
