Hi,
I would like to know if anyone has dared to be nude alone when everybody else is clothed? I have done this lot of times. I did not have any friends who were nudists. Whenever we used to have weekend parties (in our apartments) I wanted to be nude because it is kind of very relaxing.
We used to share apartment. I once dared to ask my friends, that include boys and girls, if they mind if I am nude in party. They were fine with that. Later whenever we used to have parties I used to be naked. I believe you don't have to hide anything from your friends! In the beginning it was little awkward to my friends and me but later we got used to that. No one ever made fun of me. Slowly I started staying nude infront of them almost all the time. I guess I was lucky enough to have understanding friends. |

Not sure that it counts but I have had to be the only 1 nude with a group of people a number of times recently for doctors visits. Recently I have had to see a doctor a number of times about a medical problem I have. It is necessary for the treatment to be nude and I have had to go nude at 8 different doctors visits in just the last couple months. With me being a home nudist this is certainly the most time I havew spent nude in front of others including several doctors, a number of nurses and who knows how many others. They usually offered a gown but it really wasn't hiding anything anyway. The last time I guess the nurse had figured out that i wasn't bothered by being seen naked and didn't bother to offer me a gown and instead just suggested I take my clothes off and lay down and wait for the doctor. She did cover me with a sheet after I layed down. It was a little strange though stripping and then later getting dressed in front of a nurse. After the visit was over she stayed in the room to talk with me and get some things together for me to take home while I got dressed. Having already had multiple visits with this nurse she had already seen everything over and over again so there really wasn't any point in tryting to hide anything. Presumably if I had requested a gown she would have gotten me one but I didn't bother.I go back to that same doctor in 2 weeks. I wonder if the nurse will do the same thing.
I have had many doctor visits in the past in my underwear and in my underwear sometimes I had a gown and sometimes just spent the visit in my underwear without bothering with a gown. This was the first time I was nude and not offered a gown
I would like more chances to be nude in public but this isn't the circumstances i would have preferred with the treatments being painful and so far not even doingf any good and having to go back over and over again.
5 years ago after I had surgery a nurse needed to help me get dressed to go home. Having a woman help me get dressed while I was nude was a strange experience. I had not had someone help me get dressed since I was a child. |

Way to go, bqdude1, pushing back the borders of the textiles. The only difference between them and us is that they simply have not tried nudism yet. All it takes is a minute amount of moxie, which anyone can summon up without endangering themselves.

I have done it several times. The first time, a lady that I worked with was having sort of an office party at her house. This was the first time that I had been to her house and she had a hot tub in the back yard. Toward the end of the party everyone was going to get in the hot tub and they had all brought swimming suits. I did not have one so I was just going to watch, but the owner of the house was the only one in the hot tub and she said that I could just strip down and get in. I did and soon there after the rest of the group started showing up and getting in. After a while it was obvious to most that I was naked. Then at the end of the party when I needed to get out it was known by all that I was naked. Later I found out that the lady would always tell guest without swimming suits to strip but no one had done it before.
Another time I was with some friends (men and women) at one of their hunting retreats. We had gone down to fix some of the stuff up for the upcoming season. It was a hot fall day and we had been working out in the sun most of the day. We ended up by one of the ponds on the property and I wanted to cool off so I asked if it would offend anyone if I stripped down and went into the pond. No one said anything so I did and it was great. It turns out that I started some what of a trend. Everytime after that that they would go there to work, at the end of the day the guys would strip and go swimming. It seems that the wifes and girl friends that were with them did not partake in the ritual.
Another time I was again at a lady's house (different from the first story) and she also had a hot tub. It was good Friday and she was having a house warming party and had not used the hot tub. I looked at the system and with her permission we started it up. When it got to the right temperature she announced that it was time to get in the hot tub. Her and I stripped down and got in. The rest of the party guest did not participate. We soaked for a while and the party moved from the patio to inside the house. It was getting a little cool. We needed out drinks freshen up so I walked into the house (naked) past all of the guest and fixed us both a couple of drinks. Just as I was about to leave the kitchen one of the guest stated the obvious "You are naked". I heard that latter on after I had left some of the other guest did get partially naked and got into the hot tub.

A few years ago we stayed at the Riviera Naturist Resort in Florida. Early one morning I got up for a run, it was a little cool but a good running temp. As I got started I passed a lady sitting in her golf cart talking to another lady at the end of her driveway. Both were fully clothed and were watching every lap I made.
It was a small loop I was running, so I guess I passed them 20 times in the 45 min run. Didn't know they could talk that long. LOL
It made me feel funny at first but I would just smile and raise my hand as I went by. After a while I would just smile as they smiled back. After a while they were smiling much more than I was. He He
Finished it up with an awsome outdoor shower by the pool.

This topic reminds me of the first "nudist" group I belonged to. There were several occasions when I was the only naked person. For example they had an annual hike to a nearby hot spring, about 2 miles by trail from parking. Despite it being an AANR/TNS affiliated "travel" club, nobody but me would hike naked. The others would get naked in the hot spring pool, but clothes went back on as soon as they got out of the water. We also made some trips to a TNS affiliated CO resort in a nearby state. Often I would be the only naked body in the CO resort, except at the pools or sauna. I would be in the community kitchen fixing dinner naked, and everyone else would be just as clothed as at home. |

Since my last post my wife reminded me of my bachelor party. My Navy buddies dedided it would be fun to strip me and hide my clothes. I still have the picture they took of me sitting on the couch with just a beer in my hand. At least they didn't throw me outside and lock the door. I did put my clothes back on as I found them, but I was the only one of the 20 or so at the party that was nude for about 15 min. or so. |

Back in the 80's when I was laid off from my job to survive I worked a number of part time jobs as an EMT-Paramedic. One day following a nasty shift a number of us decided to get some beer and food to take to the river to unwind. The water was too inviting so away I went, without a stitch! After cooling off I returned to the picnic and since another swim was in the cards why dress again. So I wandered around nude till I was ready to go in again. This time I was joined by two female EMT's, one who stripped and one who kept her panties. By the evening six of us were naked, one in panties and two who remained clothed.

russ2722, your recollection was similar to a situation I was in two years ago. There is a clothing optional B&B near us (about 1 hour away) that we love to spend a few summer weekends at; also the owners are nudist friends. Cathy was doing something in the cabana/room that we rent and I was out at the pool tanning nude. Once in awhile the owners have people come by who are interested in staying on their next visit to the area and they ask for a tour. The owner did not know i was out at the pool and she brought these three ladies 9all in their 60/70's) through the pool area, I heard the voices approaching but they were there in front of me before I could say a word. They were quite amused and didn't bat an eye though they were no nudists and were not wanting to stay at the B&B for its clothing optional amenities. They all said sorry to have bothered me went away smiling :) Later the owner said they were not offended at all and made a booking for the next summer.

Just once. I was at a party of adults about 8-9 years ago. The hosts had a hot tub in the back yard. I was in it with 3-4 others, being the only male at that time. They were intrigued that I was a nudist and I don't think any of them ended up nude but one or two took their tops off. It was fun to be free even though no one else was totally nude. |

this topic brings back the memories...I had an aunt..who lived three states away...and for a while my career had me in her neighborhood two or three times a month...and I was welcomed to stay with her and her husband. They were home nudists...and when I visited I was welcome to be clothes free. He still worked, she was retired, and on most occassions, I would be the only one nude. One particular weekend stayover, I was in the pool, nude, when three of my aunts friends called wanting to go shopping, and shortly they drove up, to pick her up. For their modesties sake, I remained in the pool, close to the edge, lest they be embarressed. Introductions were made, and the smiles all grew, when they relized I was swimming nude. It became apparent non were offended by nudity, tho none cared to be so themselves, and in short time, I was out of the pool, still nude, having a nice chat with these ladies. The four of them went off to do the shopping, I remained nude, lounging in the sun, till they came back. We all had a nice visit, an hour or so, and they went back to their own homes. My aunt later told me, her friends felt very much at ease with me, as single nude male. |

I have on several occasions. Once my friends at work found out I was a nudist, and I found out they were comfortable with me being nude, it was a very common sight for me to be naked around 5 or six clothed friends. It has become somewhat of the thing I am known for. In fact the only time I have spent naked with others, I was the only one nude. Everybody asks questions about it and seem interested, but they can't do it for themselves.

We (my wife and I) have been on two cruises. On both an adult female friend shared our cabin. By the second day each one of us had been running around the cabin naked while the other two sat there, fully clothed, waiting and watching. On the second cruise the ship had a clothing optional sundeck. Many times I would be the only person up there, buck nekid, when several couples, fully clothed, came up to see the view from the highest deck on the ship. They apparently did not understand what "Freestyle Sundeck" meant on the sign at the bottom of the stairs to that deck. Some ignored me, some came to chat, some ran back down the stairs in shock. A few came back later and join in...
