 Still waiting on a reply from our Admin. as to how someone changed my links in my profile without me knowing.Been 4 days now nothing heard,I'm still extremely ticked off by this happening to me.I urge you all to CHECK your profile asap.Dave..Plus my post about this is now gone!!! |

You may want to check for spyware if your computer is not typically available to others.
There are a couple of good programs that you can use... Spybot, AdAware |

Dave,
1. Click MEMBERS MENU.
2. In the drop down menu, click MY PROFILE.
3. Type in your current password to edit your profile.
4. Just above your avatar, type in your new password.
5. Then re-type it in the box below.
6. At the bottom of the page, click SUBMIT.
That will get the password changed for you.
I’m not sure what to tell you. I don’t know why, but maybe someone just wanted to pull a prank on you on this site to embarrass you. Who knows. But a hacker doesn’t have to get everything or use everything they get. Sorry you are having trouble with this. I know I'll be checking my profile from time to time!

This is the only site I have had a problem on.I have a fire wall,anti-spy ware protection also,And I can't get my password to change on this site,all the problems are with this site.If my computer was compromised I don't feel it would be just here.Dave... |

I'm sure that someone must have hacked into your computer and got the password. I can't imagine any way somebody could have done it here. I assume you've had no problem since you changed it? If so, that would support my theory. In any case wherever you were breached, changing your pw has solved the problem. You've locked out the offender.
The Admin has tons of things to do to run this site. More than you might think. I thought I might get a response from a note I sent him about something too. But he may be away for some reason or busy and unable to respond right now.
If the post you're talking about is the "Check your profile" thread, it's there. Click your name to bring you to your profile and it shows up as one of your recent topics.
