Posted - 03/23/2010 : 03:11:48 AM This liquid latex looks very much like the stuff many of the "Nightclub Scene" people were "wearing" during our visit to Cap D'Agde, inasmuch as the colours seem very similar (believe me - once seen NEVER forgotten!!). The Company name is a great one - I'm sure they wouldn't put it on the outside of the packaging (would they ??!!!) Having said that our AusPost lady wouldn't raise an eyebrow anyhow - in fact she might want to "borrow" a sample to try out!
Trying to think up other "uses" for the product: if it's a reasonably thick film, maybe it could be used to provide some actual protection - a bit like a wet-suit? If it can stop evaporation from the skin surface it'll keep you warm, so maybe a "wetsuit replacement" in the warmer parts of the World (Queensland, Aus. comes immediately to mind!)?
Must get Mrs's opinion on this one!
Happy "Painting"!!

Posted - 07/14/2007 : 7:38:30 PM In the years that I have been on this sight, I have never seen this product.
Needless to say, we will being having a lot of fun at our annual "Good Bye To Summer Party" on Labor Day.
Mrs. Cookie and I thought giving out shaving kits for everyone last year was fun, this should be really of the wall.
Going on line right now.

I am allergic to latex. It would be very interesting to some, but very uncool for me.
This is being said in "jest."

I hope that we will have to miss them only for a while. There is some suggestion that N.O. may be functional in time for Mardi Gras. Not back to normal, just functional.. I think it would be great for the morale of long-time residents and families to have that semblance of normalcy restored to them..... Not to mention the help that all those tourist dollars would provide.

Kimberly, it looks like it will be a lo-o-ong time until anyone can again enjoy coffee and beignets in the early morning from a French Quarter balcony.
For all those souls who have made N.O. what it has been, I hope the reconstruction is done with heart and verve and all the joi de vivre that they have given to us over the years. And for all those who will now be part of the soul of N.O. forever, I wish them good rest and a stunning jazz band parade for their memorial.

Posted - 03/03/2004 : 5:37:16 PM We've been to the Big Easy at least a half a dozen times, the last being about a year ago. We usually stay for about a week. We have never seen anyone completely nude, at least during normal hours.
