Posted - 10/20/2004 : 6:03:16 PM Do you have suggestions for improvements to our discussion forum?
We'd like to know about features you feel would be worth the development time. Perhaps you know of another website that has a feature you'd enjoy here. Tell us about it.
Another area that can always use improvement is our sign-up process, where some points of our posting rules may not be as clear as necessary. Give us some insight into how it is to sign up here.
The goal is a smooth signup process where new members aren't enticed to create a profile just because they are hoping to find erotica or sexual content.
Can you think of any other possible improvements to Nudist-Resorts.Org?

Posted - 04/27/2007 : 10:35:42 AM I have to say that I have really enjoyed this site. I am relitively new to naturist lifestyle and and I use this site a lot to do research into the lifestyle of a naturist. It has really help me to understand and how to deal with the topic with other people. It has helped me in a natural progression towards not just being a nudist but a naturist. I was an at home nudist and over the last year or so I have been an outside naturist but I have always been alone when nude or gone skinnydipping. In my research it is nice to read of others nude experiences, views, concerns and opinions of being a naturist. It has really helped me naturally become more comfortable with myself and my self-confidence. I am very greatful for this site and what I have learned from it. Keep up the good work moderators. |

Posted - 08/15/2006 : 11:28:39 PM There does not appear to be a gallery in which one can post cartoons and humorous drawings or pics. I have a nice one, but do not see a place for it.
I am repeating here also my previous suggestion of reordering many of the threads by grouping all the body piercing threads together, all the "Just Chatting" ones, and severa; other groups to provide better coherence.
Also, certain threads are truly dead, like those announcing upcoming events that happened years ago. (Maybe these announcements should have automatic deletion dates that are three months after the event.)
I could do some of the work on this project, at least by going thru to organize thread groups.

Posted - 08/06/2005 : 2:16:22 PM The name of the website is "nudist-resorts", right? I wish there were more posts actually discussing the good and bad points of various resorts and beaches, a fewer (a LOT fewer) posts on the finer points of pubic hair shaving. I don't care if you braid your pubic hair into dreadlocks, but I do care about your experiences and opinions of the relatively few nudist options available to us. |

i think this forum has tooo many sections with very little response, i think if you cut down a few and move a few topics around the forum wouldnt look so cluttered
no offense, i do post here |

Posted - 02/12/2005 : 09:35:03 AM In the "Quick Reply" form, there is no spell check. Would it be possible to add the spell check to the "Quick Reply" feature?

We have that. Make sure your email function is enabled in your profile. I receive email notices all the time, doesn't everybody?
I can look into the live notice feature.

Got that too. Our whole section of Nudist Resorts - Naturist Resorts, Nudism Places is just for that purpose! It's currently divided into three categories, Conservative, Romantic, and Special Interest resorts. That's our treasure trove of information.
It takes some work cutting and pasting text, but you can come up with a decent post this way without a restricting form to fill out.
quote: For new visitors... do ya have a question about how to get around etc
Not a bad idea. I like useability suggestions. I've added a few signposts that lead to here.
quote: Now help me to figure out a few other things to have cool pictures like some and the auto quote added to all things life would be so much easier! Anyone!
Have a look here for information about posting pictures in your profile. Add a photo to your post like this. The auto quote ("signature") is added from within your profile. |

Posted - 02/11/2005 : 6:45:54 PM How about a set of forums for different nudist places where people can leave reviews, like how people do at Amazon for books and other items. I know we already do something like this for a few places(Sun Sport Gardens, Lupin, etc.) but how about something more formalized where someone submits a resort name and people can start to chime in. It can include website links, telephone numbers, etc. What do you think? |

Posted - 02/11/2005 : 5:23:18 PM quote: One minor suggestion: perhaps there could be a way to mark a topic "read" with a mouse click as opposed to having to open the subject and sometimes all the pages.
There is a slight change in the darkness of the link already visited, perhaps not enough for some browsers. I'll try some other choices.
The idea of a button to mark messages read is a good one. We'll look for an opportunity to add it to code. Thanks again. |

Jo, There's a great online spell checker you can import, and it'll be available when you're online: www.iespell.com
To use it after you type, right click on your mouse and you'll have the option to check your spelling.

Hi Cheri, I didn't have to download any spell checker as It already exists on my posting form, why are others not seeing it? |

On another site that I belong to, we have a system we refer to as IM ( instant messege ) kind alike a Private chat area. If anyone sends you an IM the system, while your logged on that is tells you right away. If your not logged on then the messege goes into you e-mail.
