That said, it is possible to attend an open house event at many nudist venues (usually held in the spring when the weather breaks) without actually getting nude. You will find most of us ordinary people, just like our clothed counterparts. You may feel unease at first, but that generally passes quickly. Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions!
THAT is the perfect approach. Other reporters have taken that approach and the stories seem to much more real and honest, as opposed to being in a fishbowl, standing off from the subjects, observing them.

Hi Nikki,
I live a ways east of the Bay Area, and would consider interviewing. I've made the change from closet nudist to public nudist.

Well folks, it's beginning to look like our friend Nikki may not be what she claimed to be. She (?) sent me a PM on 10/27 which said she "would be getting in touch with me in the next day or two". That was nine days ago and I haven't heard a word. I'm disappointed, but I'll get over it.

My skepticism has turned out to be unfounded. Disregard my previous post. Nikki is back in the game.

I'm sorry for the delay, but I had a big test. Then both my kids (5months and 2yrs), myself and my husband all got the flu. It delayed my intended interviews. I am very sorry.

No worries, got to take care especially during this flu season.

Thank you to all who assisted me on this and also who offered to. I am now writing my paper and want to thank everyone again for all your help.
btw: I first slept nude for a week, then I tried going around my house naked, and really wasn't comfortable. I disliked having to run and throw something on when the doorbell rang and found that I actually like clothes. They are snuggly and cozy. (I'm a pretty casual dresser, jeans and t-shirt) I talked to my husband about going to a resort/club, but we just aren't ready. I would like to thank everyone for the open attitudes and for educating me on your lifestyles.

Best of luck with the paper- let us know how you do with it!
I'm sure I think I said what I probably meant, but maybe not.
