I read an arcticle in the paper yesterday saying that Gillette is coming out with a new razor in mid February for men. It is for use on all areas below the neck. They said itvis becoming more common for men to bodygroom and feel they can benefit from it. I looked it up on the web and found it supposidly will cost around 7 dollars. Ill be watching for it.

I have always found grooming easier with a trimmer. Shaving results in a very clean look but leaves a sharp stump of hair. When it grows, it irritates. By using a bikini trimmer, I believe that the cut made is sloppier and therefore much less likely to cause irritation.

I have never actually performed a scientific experiment and placed them under a microscope but I believe this is what is happening.

It uses a heated wire to create a blunted, softer cut hair.

On a forum about "body acceptance" i always find it strange that so many have so little respect for their natural body hair. Perhaps the "child" look is important but I just don't get it. I haven't owned a razor since I got old enough to figure out that the cultural nonsense we were told about body shame was just nonsense. I'm not ashamed of my body or any of its parts.

i bought a battery razor off internet for $7. it has the foil but also has the trimmer which is important, i am smooth from my nose to my toes and it really does a good job. the other day i was in wallyworld and saw that they had them for the same price. i will look for the gillette when it comes out and see if there is any difference. as for gnarly it's just a matter of preference once most go smooth they don't go back i like the clean feel and the awesome tan i can get.

I dont know how a subject about a new razor can all of a sudden become ambushed to become a thread about a persons opinion. Maybe a moderator's warning could prevent that in the future.

Seriously ... oldman? Do you judge a person's age and maturity by the amount of their pubic hair???
Most nudists that do shave body hair ... any body hair ... do so as a personal choice and this forum on "body acceptance" is about "respect" for ALL that choose what they do with their body. Do you shave your face or trim your mustache/beard? If so ... why is it okay for you to do so but criticize others for their grooming habits by referring to them as having the "child" look.
Equally as you ... those that shave any portion of their body hair are "NOT ashamed of their body or any of it's parts!"

We prefer to be smooth, and have been smooth ever since the first time we shaved. We have been skinny dippin since the 90's and have never seen a smoothie adult that looks like a child. Shaving the pubes is no different to us that shaving or trimming facial hair.
With naturists supportig freedom and body acceptance can we embrace the idea that being shaved or not being shaved are both OK? Can't see how anything could be improper about being a smoothie.

We've had this conversation before and still ... we'll get a member, a nudist that speaks of acceptance but then contradicts all of that by making rude comments about other nudists and their grooming habits. Seems pretty hypocritical.
