I keep a bath towel by the door to wrap around my self. My wife usually had a t-shirt on and that is the way we answer the door. If I have to go down the hall and put a pair of shorts on then I do. But my wife usually stays the same. Only happen a few time in the last 5 years or so. Mail person doesn't say anything and the UPS person(different each time)just says sign here. Keeps us free from clothes almost all of the time.
If we were supposed to ware clothes then how come we were not born with them on????

I seldom answer door nude being we do not get any deliveries but the occasional solicitor sure. I used to answer door nude more to pizza person in the past then anyone. But I also made sure there was a warning sign on the door saying clothing optional house etc.

I never get any UPS packages delivered but when I used to order pizza, I would post a sign warning them it was a C/O home etc and nudity might be visible etc.

Recently ... I've doned my 2XL SD Padres Jersey to answer the door. It's large enough to cover the front and back without having to wear anything on the bottom.
The UPS guy and gal are in too big a hurry to care if I'm not wearing anything under that large shirt. They've asked for my signature, said, "have a nice day," ran to their truck and then waved to me as they drive down the street. Not something you'd expect from someone that is put out by your lack of "dress."
Most times...they ring the door bell and are driving down the street before I can get up from the computer or make it to the front door. In which case, I can sometimes go out onto the porch and retrieve our packages naked.
Loves being naked. Plays well with others!

Fireprof-I find that most of the times for the pizza person if I had the sign up that they never were upset when I opened door in the nude.

We have a man driving UPS in our area, so its always been the same guy.
We do have a female USPS mail lady. She brought a package once and got my signature while I was naked. Our driveway winds about 500 feet up a hill, and I was outside doing some yard work when she drove in. She didn't say anything, but she has never come back. Now she leaves a form in the box. I have to go into town to pick up any package that needs a signature.

I'm not surprised, but I don't find it acceptable. The government should not be refusing service to individuals based on how someone chooses to dress or other irrelevant reasons.

True but they have that choice if they didnt have the make you come pick it up option lol then she would be happy to bring it to you while your nude even if it might gross her out :)

Our little dog, Padme', got pepper sprayed the other day by the mail-man.
My wife was naked in the living room, so she didnt want to answer the door. So she sent one of our kids to answer the door instead. Well, our little Pug/Chihuahua mix ran out after the guy. So he sprayed her (the dog) in the face.
My wife is afraid of being sued or having our kids taken from us or something like that by some stupid person. So she wont answer the door if she's not dressed.
Of course in all fairness, she didn't expect our dog to get pepper sprayed either.
I told her in retro-spect, she should have either not answered the door (our mailman usually just rings and leaves the package), or just answered it. I doubt a guy is gong to get too upset about my wife (who is a slim attractive 29 yo) answering the door in the buff. Worse comes to worse, it might have made his week. lol.
Maybe we should post a sign or something... Ive thought about it, but Im not sure how our other family and friends would react. (most know anyway, but they might think it a bit much if we post a sign)
Its sort of one of those things they know about us, but we dont really talk about. (well, some of our closer family members and friends will mention it in light hearted ways from time to time, but none of them would do it themselves) They are all too "societized" to be nudists. :)

I'm sure the Tampa area is loaded with nudist families so it would be a safe bet that your mail person has seen other naked bodies on his route.
I was a paperboy nearly 40yrs ago in Tennessee and I saw a few naked or nearly naked people when I went to the door to collect my money. None answered the door that way but had to duck for cover when came to the door that had a window. LOL
