I have been on warfarin for 18 years and want to go totally smooth but there are times my blood is entirely too thin for a razor. is there anyone who can recommend a way to shave smoothly without bleeding? Thanks
You could use electric clippers to get the hair short enough and then use an electric razor. That'll really minimize any nicks and bleeding. It'll most likely become an every other day routine because the hair will grow back faster than it would with a razor but at least you won't nick yourself and have issues with the bleeding.
Try Magic Shave shaving powder. It is similar to Nair hair remover. Mix with water, spread it on and wait about six minutes. Wash of with a wash cloth or shower scrungy. It has a slight burning feeling so do a small area and try it first and check for irritation. Ive used it a long time now with no problems. Lasts about two weeks before i need to do it again
