One of my favorite places to go is Saline Warm Springs in Saline Valley. It is located within the boundaries of the Death Valley National Monument (but not in Death Valley itself!).
You ought to have a high clearance vehicle with good tires to make the drive in, as it is a couple hours' worth of driving on unpaved roads.
The first half of the drive in (going in from the South) is spectacular, with large stands of Joshua trees and a climb up an 8000+ foot pass. At the top of the pass, you can see down into 3 different valleys, including a great view of Panamint (sic) Valley.
Descending down the other side of the pass, you'll cross a small creek about 3 times.
Then you have long drive across the valley over dusty washboard road.
But it's all worth it. You can drive right up to the springs and the various camping spots there. There are NO facilities there, other than park service latrines. However, it's a little oasis. Until last Summer, there was also an official Park Service sign that declared the area as an official clothing optional use area. However, someone complained, I guess, and the sign has been taken down. (This may also be due to the fact that the Park Service administrator over the area just changed from a very naturist-friendly guy to a more politically motivated hack). Officially, you can be ticketed by Rangers there now, but the regulars are fighting it hard.
I love the place. They use spring runoff to irrigate a lovely lawn, with mesquite and palm trees for shade. There's a koi pond, too. They have showers hooked up to the hot water flow, so warm showers are available. Several pools of various sizes are there. There is also a less developed spring about a quarter mile up the hill. (Less shade there, but improving).
They also recently found a cold water seep near the lower spring, which they have dammed up to form a cold pool. (I recommend dunking a T-shirt in it and wearing that shirt around to keep cool in the middle of the day when it's scorching hot).
It's the closest thing to a naturist paradise that I have ever seen.
If you go, please bring something to donate... most casual visitors bring extra firewood (they have fire-rings at various spots), bottles of chlorine bleach (volunteers drain and clean the pools once per day), or toilet paper for the latrines.
