What do you guys think of DOMAI.com? Softcore porn disguised as nudity? Simple nudism? Incredible beauty?

toll booth,
from what i just saw, it is models posing nude. some are in what could be considered nudist settings, others are standard poses. soft core porn. maybe in the member section, but from what i saw, no. a depiction of the nudist lifestyle, in an indirect sense, since it only shows women alone, and organized and semi-organized nudism is group/family oriented. hope this answers your question.

Interesting. I wonder, are the pictures supposed to create sexual arousal, or are they simply sensual pictures of natural beauty?

I agree with Calmnude, its just women posing nude in an outdoors setting. The pictures are beautiful and tastefully done. I do not think it has anything to do with nudism. As the founder states, its for the admoration of the female nude body. I see nothing wrong with site, do not understand why its labeled as porn.

I feel that all of the photos, at least the ones shown in the free gallery, to be completely tasteful. I appreciate female beauty for just that, but I'm sure that some people will look at any kind of photos and use them for sexual gratification.
I also feel that many of us seem to define nudism too strictly for me. I don't see why socialization and group nudity has to be a strict requirement of nudism. The fact that they are pictures of ladies alone, some outside in nature, and some inside is irrelevent. I think the pictures are entirely tasteful and do depict nudism, because I myself enjoy being nude in solitude . While enjoy being at the beach with others, I actually I prefer solitude sometimes. I practice for the way it feels.

I understand the point you are making Randy. Notice that all the women are young and beautiful, so its representing just a certain group. The women are posing, not in the natural day to day things nudists would be doing outside, like swimming, playing frizzbe, badmitten, volley ball. But I do agree with you, there is nothing wrong with them, and the pictures are very tasteful.
Some people are going to get off to any pictures Randy, just human nature, nothing we can do about it.

I've seen some of the domai pictures, I would not consider them porn. They are done tastefully. I have to agree with Kim, some people will get off to any type of picture, whether the person in the picture is clothed or nude.

randy,
if you look at older nudist publications, you will see many posed models doing things we all do at resorts/gatherings,etc. solitary is good. like you said there are always times we need to be alone to clear the cobwebs.
current pics are a lot of group in action photos, these pics are good, depict nudity in a positive, natural way, but are almost deja vu.

Randy:
You're confusing "nudism" with "nudity." I've always considered nudism to be a lifestyle or at least a "practice". My dictionary defines it as "the practice or cult of going nude for hygenic reasons." Whatever.
The pictures at DOMAI depict nudity, not nudism. They are definitely not pornographic. You might call them erotic, but certainly not smut.

Eric,
I see your point about your definitions, but I'm not confusing the two at all. I just have a different view from yours of what nudism is. Everyone has slightly different perceptions about things and how we define them. I personally consider nudity, nudism and even naturism just the conditon that you are in when without clothes. For me, it's just the comfort of being nude. Especially when tanning and swimming. I enjoy the sensations. I do it at home when nobody's there and I do it in a crowd at the beach. It's not a religion or a way of life, it's a way of enjoying ones's self. In order to enjoy the various aspects of nudism, you have to be nude.
Kim,
You're right. They do represent a rather select group. But I think the guys would be dishonest if they would tell you they'd rather look at less attractive women every chance they get. Likewise the ladies would prefer to look at attractive men. So I can see why photographers would likely choose the young and attractive. That doesn't make anyone less of a nudist for looking at pretty subjects, or less of a nudist for being an attractive one. Like I always say,"You don't go AHH my eyes! and go blind the first time you see your wife or girlfriend naked, or as soon as you get married." No matter how radiantly gorgeous she is! (Shameful attempt at redeeming myself.) The first thing to go as we age is our hearing, and the last thing is the good vision.
In the final analysis though, I would venture to guess that the models depicted may not all necessarily be practicing nudists, but are ladies who are just comfortable being nude before a camera. That being the case, I'm sure any of them would be comfortable at nudist venues. I think if you don't mind being publicly nude even if it's just in front of a camera, maybe you are a nudist. After all, what is a nudist but someone who goes nude?

Randy I agree with you, but I was just stating that the women in the pictures did not represent a cross section of naturism. I am sure the young ladies did not pose for free either.

Probably not Kim. But if somebody were foolish (and had bad enough taste ) to be willing to pay me (enough), I'd do it too.

Personally, when I get nude, I don't usually want to play volleyball or be otherwise real active. I get enough activity already. I just want to get wet, get tan, relax and feel good. So I might would be a boring action subject. Come to think of it, I'd be a boring subject in any case!

When I'm on the beach yah. I'm on my feet running around at work for 10 hours a day. Lifting, carrying, producing product, solving problems. Time to rest. The only sweat I want now is from the sun.
