Hi,
we are looking for a nude beach on Cozumel, Grand Caymans or Majahula. Can anyone help us find one? we are going on a cruise on the 14th of Feb.

It's one hr. from Cancun, Ray. They're looking for Cozumel area places.
I very much agree about Hidden Beach Resort. BTW, their brochure says they are available for large gatherings, that you can rent the entire place. They've a toll-free # 1-888-754-3907

Just got back from Cozumel. There may be some secluded beaches on the East coast of the island, but they are very windswept. The road goes right by them too. Palancar beach on on the south eastern tip of the island and while not a c/o beach, there is an isolated portion south of the boat dock. I took about a 1/2 mile walk with no problem. If you take a blanket, you could lay out privately.

I believe it was on Cozumel that there was a bar that had signs talking about "nude beach," but there was nobody there, so I can't speak of the truth of it. I always wonder if the signs are supposed to be cute, of if it's a legitimate c/o beach. If I hadn't been with my family, I might have tested it...there's always next time!

If one assumes that "Majajula" in the topic heading refers to "Majahual" or "Mahahual" in the southern Yucatan, there is a small off-the-grid resort not far south of Majahual called Playa Sonrisa. It's just north of Xcalak on a potholed mess of a road. I don't know if they allow day visits to their beach, but if you're driving that far, you might as well stay there. It's one of my favorite C/O places, and I'm sure it's reviewed elsewhere on this site.
