Hello,

My wife and I are planning on going to the French Polynesian islands in June for our 10th anniversary. We are not really nudist at this point although we do spend alot of time nude (around the house and at our pool). A couple of years ago we went to Jamaica and visited the nude beach at our resort and loved. While Jamaica was nice the Tahiti area is way more expensive so I hoping that being a predominatly french distination my wife wont be the only half naked body there. Has anyone been to Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea, Taha'a Huahine or any other places in the French Polynesian area?

Any help would be great thanks

The reports of naturist venues for French Polynesia aren't good. I have friends who want to go to Tahiti. I looked for resorts for them there and realized how expensive it is to get there and then checked for naturist venues and realized there weren't very many. Good luck finding your paradise.

Cheers

If you're looking into Tahiti I suggest you look into Club Med in Moorea. We were there many years ago and it was a really fun place with lots of activities....one of which was a twice daily shuttle to a small island on the other side of their lagoon where topless and complete nudity were common. A word of caution...these clubs change "personalities" over the years to fit changing consumer tastes. Many Club Meds changed to "family" destinations. Moorea didn't when we were there and my guess is that because of its pricey locale, it hasn't gone that route and is primarily for adults.
