We were there in march and have some friends there now. It is still a great nude beach with friendly people.

Does anyone know where or if the area where people could go skinny dipping at Picnic Island is, or if Honeymoon Island still has a nude beach?

Honeymoon never had a nude beach. You can go nude at the very very northern end of it BUT have to have to keep a good lookout

When is the best time to visit Honeymoon Island? During the week or on the weekend?

Have never heard of a picnic island, as to Honeymoon, probably mid week or so, as it'll be busier weekends

Picnic Island is a smallish beach in S. Tampa.

It's done not too far from MacDill AFB and Port Tampa. It has boat ramps, fishing, etc. A nice little place.
Or it was years ago when I was last there.

I'd like to know more about Apollo beach and where exactly to go when you get there. We've been there to see the Manatees a few times. So it's not far away.
It's within about 30-40 minutes so its definitely a place we could try out. I'd like to take my wife and kids (if possible).

I believe you have the wrong Apollo, it's not the city of Apollo beach it's a beach at the Canaveral National Seashore near New Smyrna Beach. Palyalinda is just a few miles away near Tittusville.
