I used to love to go to Martha's Vineyard, particularly to Gay Head (now Aquinnah) Moshup Beach, which was informally clothing-optional.
Thinking of going there this weekend, but heard that the nude area has been squashed, there are signs everywhere and the police are actually patrolling AND hauling people in for nude sunbathing.
Has anyone been there recently? Is it really that bad?
I was there this weekend (August 18-19, 2007), and there were lots of nude sunbathers, along with a few nude boaters anchored off the shore and one nude snorkeler, and no signs of bathing suit enforcement.
