Hi Daffy,
We have not stayed at Esmarelda, but have stayed at another condo next door. You have a short (200 meter) walk to the beach, and if the privacy at Esmarelda is anything like it was at Green Cay, you can be comfortable at home too.
Enjoy St. Martin; it is our favorite island.
