No Topic Needed In This Thread - Topic-Free Zone
There was a good suggestion for an "off topic" topic, where the Admin won't gripe at you for ignoring the subject! 
And so, drum roll please, the moment we have been waiting for has finally arrived! In this thread, and this thread only, it matters not what the subject is, nor if there was a subject in the first place. So, what's new with you?

We don't normally spend time nude in the house when the kids are home. My wife and 12 year old were out of town for a day, and Wednesday morning I was in the kitchen nude when my 18 year old daughter came in.
First I asked her what she was doing up so unusually early for a kid on summer vacation, and then if I needed to put on the shorts hanging on the chair in the kitchen. She replied that it was not necessary and that she was just fine like that. Thus I spent the entire morning nude without worrying about who was where, and she appeared totally unconcerned.
Better yet, she was wearing a camisole that was practically see-through and thong underwear, and this would normally see her scurry to her room to put on some more clothes. However, I told her that I had no problems with her attire, and we spent a couple of hours like that eating breakfast and just talking about life.

What you have described, Mac, is a positive experience in almost every sense. Perhaps unknown to you (and your wife), an element of trust that you must have created, exists throughout your family. Unless there have been previous episodes of nudity that would explain your daughter's apparent total acceptance?
During the three-hour conversation did the subject of nudism arise? Sure, it's your own house, but was this not unusual?

When she was little, we couldn't keep clothes on her, but about 12 or 13, as most girls do, she got much more self-conscious and we stopped most of the nudity. She spent most of her younger years skinny-dipping in our pool, so she has seen her parents naked hundreds of times, but we treat the pool differently from the house.
If it were only my choice, it would be totally free-style on clothes in the house, but my wife thinks that is inappropriate at this age, and now my 12 year old daughter has gotten squeamish, so I have to just disagree verbally but go along. I push it at times, but it is their house too.
Yes, I brought up the subject of nudism and all the arguments for it, but I really wanted to keep the atmosphere light so she would come away feeling positive.
It also mystifies me that she can sleep in that oversized T-shirt. I would wake up in the middle of the night with it wrapped all around me.

One mistake. That morning she was wearing the camisole. Today it is the T-shirt. Looks hot to me. 96 degrees F at 11 am here in North Texas.

Our naturist/nudist chat takes place each Tuesday after 8pm Eastern time. People from all over the globe join in, and we?re inviting you to be part of this fun time.
Below are explicit directions. We hope you join us.
1.) Open browser (Explorer, Netscape, etc.)
2.) In Address or URL field enter: http://www.paltalk.com
3.) Screen on right middle side will have <click> button to: "Download Pal talk for FREE"
4.) If not asked for download, "Click here to Download" in the left most top center.
5.) <Click> on save and put it on your desktop, where you can find it most easily.
Note: if using a dial-up modem, it will take some time but do not be alarmed; this Chat group is really worth the wait. The DSL or Cable download will be quicker. The file name is pal_install_r17704.exe a little over 5 meg
* The client program part works great with dial-up lines.*
6.) Close all programs and click on the icon of the pal_install_r17704.exe on your desktop.
If asked, install usual/recommended features.
7) The Paltalk program will add an icon to your desktop and/or start up folders.
8.) Connect to the internet and click on desktop icon. A mini window will popup asking for your ID or ask if you are a new user. <Click> on new user. You can use a nickname or even your real name.
9.) You will be given a confirmation ID sent to your e-mail address that is required for getting a log in.
10.) Use that confirmation ID and password to get into system.
11.) You will notice that the Pal talk window looks much like a messenger chat window much like Yahoo Messenger.
12.) In the center top of the Pal talk Messenger window is the Chat group, click on that <tab>
13.) Select the browse for all groups and another window will come up.
NOTE: you will have to <click> on the Adult consent in the upper left had corner to get into the groups that we are under.
14.) From the selection on the left you can <click> on Adult & drill down to <Conversations>
15.) You can find us under: Nudist resorts org (no punctuation)
16.) Most times the group usually starts after 8pm. The room is open only when a Moderator is available. If you don't see the group at 8pm, click on the refresh shortly, and it will show up. After you enter the group, add as a favorite so you can find it quickly the next time you want to join the chat.
17.) Enjoy the chat. There are people joining in from around the globe.
