My wife and I have booked a 2 week vacation at Playa Sonrisa in November. We had originally planned to go to Eden Bay but as this is to be our first trip to a nudist resort thought that we would go to this smaller one./ Also the price played a factor in our decisions. Are there any other viewers who have been to this resort. Wpould love to hear any pros , cons and advice.
Looking forward to being buck naked for 2 weeks

Are there any adult only Lifestyle oriented nudist resorts in Northern California or Western Nevada? I live in the Sacramento CA area and have belonged to 2 local family oriented travel groups (one TNS, 1 AANR associated). Enjoy my membership in them but would prefer belonging to adult only Lifestyle oriented nudist groups

Anyone would think that what we are doing here in March is new.... it's not!!!
But the World has gone crazy in grabbing this and running with it.
A simple google on The White Cockatoo Nudist Resort could keep you amused for days reading through the hundreds of articles, sites, and forums where it's being shown.....
However.... the most hilarious of all we have seen online is the following... well I think it's hilarious any way ;-)
Alice Bedsprings, Australia - Worried about the upcoming world recession? No need. Just book a holiday at Australia's 'Anything Goes' nude party resort to chase those blues away.
"Abso-bloddy-lutely! What will happen, will happen," prophesised Cinnamon Cockatoo resort owner Billy Bong. "We can't all just call it a day and cark it. And it won't do us any good to chuck a wobbly neither."
"They've made a right dog's breakfast of the global economy," proclaimed Mr Bong, swigging on his stubbie. "So here at the Cinnamon Cockatoo, we've decided to lift everyone's spirits with our 'Anything Goes' nude party."
Billy Bong contrasted the Aussie approach to impending doom and gloom with the final scenes on the Titanic.
"When all those passengers were left on the Titanic and about to kick the bucket, what did they do?" asked Bong rhetorically. "They struck up the band and played Waltzin' Matilda."
"That was fine in 1912, but today we're going to jazz it up like a pavlova," asserted Billy Bong. "All our jackaroos and jillaroos will be totally in the nuddy and happy as pigs in mud. No room for misery guts at our Anything Goes nude party here at the Cockie."
"We're fed up to the back teeth with all this non-stop negativity in the news every day. Here in Oz we like to party, barbie, drink hearty, and have sex, and not necessarily in that order," explained Bong, proffering a bowl of frangers displayed prominently on his desk.
Reservations at the Cinnamon Cockatoo have been pouring in ever since the announcement of the Anything Goes nude party.
Sheila Cackleberry, head hostess at the resort, reported her pleasant surprise at the increase in international bookings for the nude event.

In addition to all-you-can-drink alcohol, 24 hour all-you-can-eat buffets, non-stop nude foam bubble parties, and plenty of sex-on-the-beach, lots of live entertainment will be on offer as well.
"We tossed around the Titanic theme and thought of a nude Celine Dion singing My Heart Will Go On, but that idea got tossed back into the ocean pretty quickly," said a wincing Ms Cackleberry.
"So far we've booked in Georgina Baillie and the Satanic Sluts to do their nude burlesque show," confirmed head hostess Sheila Cackleberry. "And luckily Russell Brand happened to be free to do his comedy routine. When we told Brand it was an Anything Goes nude party, he waived his fee just like that."
"And we're likely to get Miley Cyrus doing a nude spoof of Michael Jackson's Thriller," shared a breathless Ms Cackleberry, adding, "As soon as we verify that she turns 16 this month."
Cinnamon Cockatoo owner Billy Bong said that while spaces are filling up fast, the Australian resort is still taking reservations for its Anything Goes nude party.
"Like I said, what goes around comes around, and I don't just mean STDs. The economy sucks big time right now," proclaimed Bong, "but it won't last forever like the Australian drought."
"So get in a nude party mood dude, and come on Down Under. Just be careful who you tailgate, mate."

I WAS amused and interested in the responses that I read, via the internet, in the Dutch (I assume it's a tabloid) newspaper, De Telegraaf.
There were a lot! And, a very small minority thought the world would end after this event, at the White Cockatoo, in far north Queensland, in March.
(Well. Not really but they were worried that the rest of the world might find out about sex.)
I shall be watching out for reports on the effects on the Richter Scale, here, in Sydney, then.
The White Cockatoo is not the flagship of Naturism, in Australia. It's a business. Accommodation catching as much occupancy in as many ways as possible and gtting into the news doesn't hurt.
Of the three possibilities, I would not book into textile. If I was able to travel all the way up there, I'd prefer, nudist.
If I could turn back the clock, say, 45 years, I might consider: March. We only live once.
This is where I would now urge the Queensland government to provide loads of opportunity for tourists to bathe nude on its great beaches. But you've read that before!!
(Noone doing what they're doing, in March 2009, when I was there, as far as I could tell!)
Naturism is for every body.

Yes there is some places in Northern Ca like Wilton Ca. approximately 7 miles East of hwy 99. by Sacramento CA there is Great place called Casa Del sol Laguana for Families and have work out room and two outdoor pools. Plus large place even for Winter time Plus very reasonable. Then so is Lupan in the Los Gatos Hills area they have day camp sites available and check out their website lupan.com.
Now I have had a Femal friend also informed me of new Resort also in the Clearlake ,CA area however its mainly for Gay's Females and Males. Sorry no children though. It has nice cmap grounds and also reasonable rentals. So just check around they have sopme reasonable over night rates at most of these places I have been to los Gatos over 10 times last 30 years,and about 6 times to Wilton. Thats when I am not busy my seasona for work starts jsut as Spring/Summer starts up. I do landscape Contractor in Sprinkler Repairs and Installs. So its hard now days to get there.

Skinlover, I believe the correct name is Laguna del Sol; I've been there several times and even when their name was Rawhide Ranch. The correct name of the Los Gatos park is Lupin.
