Sunair Health Park, a legacy from (Uncle) Henry Logan, situated in Graniteville , South Carolina hadn?t seen much nudist/naturist activity since 1999, the year in which Uncle Henry passed away.
The August Naturist leaders, Debbie and John, suggested a gathering of those folk who used to visit the park to Henry?s widow, Evelyn. Mrs. Logan accepted the proposition, and The Sunair Reunion was born. It was the beginning of a rebirth of relaxation under the sun at that park. Invitations were sent out to Augusta Naturists, Travelites, and Cedar Creek members as well as others who might have visited that little piece of heaven.
Much reminiscing went on during the day. For dinner, two turkeys were deep-fried; everyone brought something scrumptious to accompany the birds. The clubhouse seats were just about all filled.
Travelites and the August Naturists along with Cedar Creek friends are now planning monthly gatherings at Sunair including weekend campouts with breakfasts and other delicious meals and fun.
A new chapter is opening there as single members of the clubs are invited to join in the fun. For more information on future events at Sunair, contact The August Naturists at 706/877-1630 in the Augusta or Travelites at 803/695-1937.
