If general openion is that the nudism can increase libido and if we consider 'nudist' as to be a 'naturist' than enjoying sex when feel like doing it and that too with a natural backdrop like beach where all around people are also in their natural dress, why the sex is not considered as natural and why is it considered as an offence that is not only punishable but also as some thing called 'uncivilised' or against spirit of nudism/naturists movement ?

Simply put ... you tell them that it's not acceptable, tell them that it's not appropriate behavior for a clothing optional beach and ... you make sure that you tell them that their behavior is, will and has ruined it for many nudists by their actions because the authorities use this kind of behavior to take these clothing optional beaches away!

To do nothing or say nothing is the same as condoning the actions.

I've had a couple of different experiences in the last couple of years, one a couple of weeks ago at a legal CO beach, the other last year at a non-designated CO beach but commonly used.

Last year a couple walked past me and went further down the beach, maybe 100 metres. They then proceeded to put on a performance. They walked past me 30 minutes later to access the swimming area and came back a few minutes later. They invited me to go with them to either participate or just watch. I thanked them but declined. They then proceeded to go again. I was surprised and disappointed that they seemed to have come to the beach for that purpose. I'm no prude and have had sex on the beach a number of times in the past but this was more than just a spur of the moment event, it seemed planned.

Different beach this year and a different case but again I was disappointed. Went to a CO beach and positioned myself a reasonable distance away from other people 10-15 metres or so, it was a crowded day. The couple nearby came back to their gear and lay in the sun. Another group of younger people (great to see groups under 30) 3 guys and 1 girl came to the same spot and sat with the older couple. The older two went on another walk and another guy turned up who is a beach regular. The regular often walks around with an erection and seems to be proud have it out and proud, good for him, and he did this day. He went walking off to the sand dunes then the 4 others went to a different place in the dunes, a couple of the guys also sporting erections. They all came back to the beach 15 minutes later and it was clear at least 2 or 3 of the guys including the regular had had sex with the girl. They came back, went in the water, washed off and laughed about it. This intrigued and disappointed me again.

As I said I'm not a prude but it may sound that way. I didn't think the purpose of the CO and designated nude beaches was as a place to have sex in public, spontaneous sex is going to happen but these two events concern me as there are already enough nay-sayers out there who would like to remove the CO or nude designations from these beaches and these performances are just the sort of behaviour to cause problems for the rest of us who don't go there just for these reasons.

The beach where this more recent sex happened has large dunes behind it and guys often seem to frequent the dunes for casual sex. The dunes are a place to get out of the wind and I've been approached by guys on a couple of other occasions. Again I've politely declined, it is not the reason I go to the beach or seek protection from the wind.

I don't know what to do about this. Do I try to contact someone who might be part of a nudist group in the area and relate these stories? Do I just ignore it and "get over it"? Any suggestions?

I've since started going to another beach to avoid this situation. I just enjoy getting some sun, swimming naked, relaxing, reading, having a walk and a chat if anyone is interested in talking.

I would force them to have clothed sex on a heavily patroled but officially nude beach. Solves the problem and makes a good newspaper headline -- Clothed people have sex on nude beach. Can't trust those textile folks.

These people aren't nudists though, they are exhibitionists.

I always wondered if a well wrapped towel snapped at just the right time would send a message heard round the beach?

Just askin.....

Unfortunetly its always a few dipshits with no brain that F it up for everyone else, whether its nudity, speeding, drinking, anything...there will always be a moral ***hole willing to get on their soapbox and cry foul....(usually a politico at election time btw)

its a bit of a fine line. I dont see really anything wrong with sex in public, I think it can be cathartic for both parties involved. It should be allowed in some places in the world, but strictly seperated from family nudism

For the record, I have nothing against being nude on a beach and chugging rum drinks and singing anything.

That is correct, but as we all know when the gendarmes are away the couples will play in front of the dunes.

Admit it, sex on the beach is a near-universal male fantasy and one of the reasons it's sometimes so difficult to persuade women to try nudism. Low budget B-movie comedies are filled with geeky guys stumbling on to a nude beach filled with sleek Maria Sharapova type blondes. Added to the mixed messages (AANR vs. various lifestyles websites) is the dichotomy between traditional naturist images and those from all-inclusive Jamaican resorts and racier locations in the U.S. and Europe. No wonder women are so reticent about experimenting with nudism.

Bottom line: Non-sexual skinny dipping is a far cry from sex on the beach, chugging rum drinks and singing Big Bamboo.

don't know about other countries but nude beaches are far and few in the USA and you know someone in government is just waiting for a complaint to shut it down. when i go to the beach and spend four or five hours sunning or splashing in the water i know i have probably 20 hours in the day at home or elsewhere to have sex. the folks having sex on the beach aren't real nudist or they know this is taboo, same with a family nudist resort why mess up a good thing - rent a cabin, buy a tent or go find a motel. real nudist frown on sex in public at this locations.

Yeah, I think there is a difference between sex outside in wide open spaces, and sex in places where nudity is encouraged and allowed, but sexual expression is supposed to be limited.

yes, there is something very incredible and even thrilling about sex on a beach. But frankly, there would be nothing but angst and consternation if it was done at Black's or Apollo or Gunnison, or....you name it. Those places are really verboten for that behavior because they are designated for purely recreational nude use. Going any further, is an insult to others who use it, and a violation of a whole bunch of unwritten rules regarding our nude beaches.

Okay ... so I get the whole sex out in the open, woods, beach, park, the car (for which I'd have to have lots of medication for my back before and afterwards)...

But "our" reasons for doing this was NOT for the benefit of everyone or anyone else that will surely come upon us as we are engaged. The act of making love to my wife in "open" places was for us ... NOT for others.

SO ... with the attitudes recently posted above me ... is this act of love making out in the open that you feel should be done without reprocussions ... for both of YOU ... or for THOSE that may see you? Serious question.
