hey guys, i need help! i am a woman, i shave regularly. but the problem is, my pubic hair is very coarse after i shave them. is there anyway to make it softer or less coarse? thank you!!

Mine is I would say coarse a bit, for what I have I feel even at full bush I have half of what full bush was 10 years ago...what ever happened to original poster?...I suggest you just leave it be. |

I used to dry shave once a week,but the stubble was coarse and itchy after a week. I now shave in the shower every 2 to 3 days with no problems with the coarse hair anymore.

Cookie that was funny lol, well what you should do is try to go for the laser removal option but not for all the area, keep alittle bit of hair and shave it on regular basis with and use a good lotion, this should fix the problem on the long run.

Years ago, I dated a women who had beautiful grey hair, and her "bush" was comp. white!!
Yes, comp. white!! But it was very coarse, and she never shaved, she did not believe in it!!!

I agree with pc1961. My wife's pubes are coarser than mine. She has had most of it lasered off and kept a landing strip that goes through. The hair that is left is still coarse, but there is much less left and so it doesn't seem as coarse! Hope this helps! |

I found that the best way to get softer hair is by entirely removing the hair, such as by plucking or waxing. Hair gradually becomes softer. |

You might want to try Jergens Naturally Smooth. It helps with course hair and helps with the red bumps. |

If you don't mind it gone forever, have laser hair removal. Even if you just want a reduction. Have two or three sessions done. What regrows should be finer and softer; easier to shave.
LHR does not work on blond, red or gray.

When my wife and I were shaving during the summer months, we to found the hair to be coarse!!
One way is to shave everyday, and stay smooth which we did and we enjoyed it.
Also, we used J&J Baby Oil!
It worked!!!
Now that the cold winter has hit the Northeast, we are going back to having a full bush!!!
Remember we are not here for a long time, so let's have a good time.

Somegirl424, my wife had this problem after she started shaving her pubs and we found that a mild aloe lotion applied daily helped a lot. The lotion sofened the hair in the region.
