Posted - 12/11/2008 : 11:11:48 AM I have noticed some members post nude photos of themselves . I personaly could not do this because my nude life is still very private . I am not saying those that are not so private are wrong . It's just at this time in my life or forever I feel that in the wrong hands a nude photo could come back to haunt you . People have lost jobs and promotions over public postings . |

Posted - 01/06/2009 : 9:53:54 PM Ihave not posted any pictures of me and I doubt I ever will. I have been amazed at the fact that my forum name (capecodjack) can be googled and how many hits come up. Most of the hits are of another capecodjack but the fact remains that the internet is fraught with unexpected consequences. |

Posted - 01/06/2009 : 3:44:53 PM Better safe than sorry... But a neck-down pic might come across more pervy than anything else. If you must post a photo I would post one zoomed way out that leaves your face somewhat ambiguous if you're worried about someone seeing it. Don't post something you wouldn't want passed around the entire Internet, because you never know...

Posted - 01/06/2009 : 3:40:51 PM Since I am retired I don't have any problems with nude photos but can understand other especially if they are in the public light, sometimes it can effect your job or other things in life. When they fix the upload for this site I will upload a photo. |

That's how I feel about it, too. And I keep my nude photos locked up at home.
Firstly the Internet is a vast place and the odds of anybody spotting you are very slim and anyway the images are hardly big enough to be recognised. I don't think an image that size is going to turn up anywhere.
However even a small photograph does give an impression of the person and generally makes a bulletin board seem more friendly.
My avatar was chosen to give a positive impression of nudism, without being 'in your face'. If a 'guest' on this board stumbles across it, while surfing for naked people, I hope they are a little jealous of my freedom on a sunny beach.

Posted - 12/29/2008 : 8:34:53 PM Hmm, well, maybe I'll throw up a neck-down photo or something. I don't see the harm in doing so; you only live once! |

Posted - 12/29/2008 : 08:43:56 AM My wife won't post her picture because she works with kids and doesn't want to have a back fire. In my case when i posted my picture i was working for the county and everybody in my dept knew i was a nudist as well as my family and friends. I couldn't see how the picture would make any differance. i like to see who i'm replying to and the picture does the trick.

Posted - 12/28/2008 : 8:41:04 PM Yeah, I'm still a closet nudist when it comes to revealing my little secret. Are you recommending that I don't post a neck-down photo then? Cheers to all! |

Posted - 12/28/2008 : 7:23:48 PM I have read what a lot of us do for living. Teachers, Care workers, and Medical professionals to name a few. The way the internet is it is better to be safe than sorry. As it is we have to be careful who we tell that we like to be nude. I have had trouble keeping girl friends when I tell them i like to run around nude. |

Posted - 12/28/2008 : 7:14:34 PM Rob, I have the same issue. I'd love to post a nude photo or even an album, but I fear the potential repercussions. Would it be overtly sexual or wrong to post a neck-down nude photo? I've been on here so long, I'd at least like to post something. Tell me what all of you think.

Posted - 12/28/2008 : 3:54:40 PM I choose not to post pictures because altough I don't care who sees me I need to worry that the company I work for might find them. And use that as an excuse to get rid of me. |

Posted - 12/28/2008 : 08:18:36 AM Be who you are and say how you feel, cos those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter. By Dr seus. Let's face it, Naturists are not normal, according to people who think they are. If posting a nude pic of your self wont kill your career or your marriage, then why not post it.

Posted - 12/27/2008 : 8:07:03 PM I came across a photo taken at a resort in colorado when I was a teen that my Dad held onto for a long time and it was with my boyfriend back then and it brought back allot of really pleasant memories but then again it was at a nude resort and with both of our permission and parents. His parents were also nudists we all traveled there as families. Tastfullly taken and "OMG" I had the forbidden tan lines even!!!! Remember how bad the untanned parts burnt that week!!!!!! Could barely sit and how it peeled!!!! Never happened again!

Posted - 12/23/2008 : 11:51:00 PM If everybody you know, knows that you are a nudist, then it would be far less harmful to post a nude shot. If you want to keep your nudist lifestyle a secret from any or most people, then don't post your nude photo.
Wise old Ben Franklin said -- Three can keep a secret, if two of them are dead.
I didn't want to sound morbid, but Franklin was correct. Those who all their friends, family, acquaintenances know the former is a nudist, are very fortunate indeed. How fortunate to go through life not having to care who would see you nude.
