Hi:
Happy 4th of July to everyone. I am up early and out vac. the pool for our annual cookout, and the weather is finally beautiful here in
New England.

We are having about 12 couples and several singles over, and Mrs. Cookie told them to not to be shy, and wear their jewelry.

Mrs. Cookie just rec as a birthday present some new 14kt gold nipple rings, and she can't wait until she can show them. They have bells on them, so she thought it would be approiate for Ind. Day!! She is going to ring her bells this afternoon.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Remember, we are here for only a short time, so let's have a good time.

piercings are individual like tattoos. about five years ago I wanted to do something, so I didn't think at the time much about it, because I might have changed my mind, but now I'm glad I just went in and got it done. I got a couple piercings and they're great. I can just hear my mother's voice saying "I took care of your skin all those early years". A tattoo would be cool, but I can't decide what to choose or where to put it.

I love genital and breast piercings! As well as belly button piercings, and ear and (on some people) eyebrow piercings. I also like tattoos. My wife has the bass line to "Smoke on the Water" tattooed on her back, and have the Suzuki "S" w/a saxophone on my upper left hip.

i think part of nudism is acceptance. we accept people for who they are not what they look like. That includes piercings. I personally dont like genital or facial piercings but i have friends that have them and they are the same people they were before they got them so what difference is it. That being said i wear small rings in my nipples and no one has ever said anything to me about them or complained. If they would i would have no problem taking them out.

Can I ask why? What if they were earrings? Would it have been more acceptable? As nudists I think we need to have a new view on things. We are used to earrings, becoming more used to nose rings etc. Isn't genital jewellery just another form of self expression which we of all people should be able to accept?

However, one female had at least 4 or 5 genital piercings that seemed to be diamonds (that woman was petite elsewhere) that one could not miss as she got comfortable on her chaise lounge. To me, that's a bit much.

it's simple warmskin...to each his/her own. i LOVE tattoos, and would love to cover half of my body with them. they are a form of expression for me, the same way some people feel about piercings.

I wonder what piercings and jewelry can really do to beautify the natural body. I suppose if they were necessary, why not put heavy duty padlocks on each ear to really make a statement. Or maybe hang 3½ floppy disks from each ear. Or maybe a 1040 form hung on each ear? Perhaps hubcaps hung from each ear might be the ticket. I know, I exaggerate, but to make a point, if I have one.

I probably am getting carried away, but I seem to think that adding trivialities to the human body is often garish. Often, simplicity best brings out the classic beauty of the body. I stand to be correct on this, and welcome any advice on where I could be wrong.

So, Teva, I think your comments are sincere and honest. The question, therefore, is where do you stand WRT piercings for yourself?

Don't get me wrong, I have no piercings, but something in me just gets pissed off when people babble on about how accepting they are and how wonderful the lifestyle is, then give a "dress code." I will just not be joining, I suppose. It's kind of funny, because our local Fetish/Mod scene is completely embracing of naturism.

To some, drawing attention to body parts is not what nudism is about. I agree somewhat. I've seen some nipple piercing jewelry I like, some are ostentatious. Genital jewelry if not overdone and not obvious, many clubs allow. It's getting to be more acceptable.

Personally I have one nipple ring and a good sized tattoo on my side which as I found out today tends to grab attention. I realise that nude beaches attract all walks of life, and especially with the different generations I have seen different reactions. Today at the beach I had someone ask me about my tattoo, but no one has ever commented on my piercing.
