I've been shaving my pubic area for over 20 years. Prior to 5 months ago, I used a Gillette Mach3 Turbo with Edge Pro-gel with aloe.
Prior to shaving and right after my shower, I would apply Vasoline Intensive Care with vera-aloe to the area to be shaved. After about 5 minutes, then the shaving gel.
After the shave apply hot water with a wash cloth, then an alcohol based after shave lotion.
The result is a nice smooth skin surface without redness or bumps.
Lately, I been using the Braun Silk-epil except on my ball sack which I continue to shave. The Braun is an electric epilator or tweezer. Thus the hair is pulled out and regrowth takes about 3 weeks. That's the advantage with the epilator.
Even though it does a nice job, I'm probably going back to my Mach3.

I use a double or triple blade razor. Usually with shaving cream and after a shower. I've posted before that I also shave my wife's pubic hair. I use a razor on her also. We recently purchased a small battery operated shaver that is cylindrical shaped about 4" long. It works pretty good just takes alittle longer. That's the only draw back. It doesn't give you razor burn, red bumps etc. that the shaving can do.

I use a lay schick razor, and shave jell. I usually shave in the shower, or after a nice long soak in the tuv, and finish up with skin so soft.

I use a double or triple edge razor with shaving cream (gel). I shave in the shower. I get a close, smooth shave!

I usually shave in the shower with a blade and gel, or in the summer I'll shave out on my deck sitting in the sun.

I haven't tried shaving like out side on the deck, have to have the shower or bath water, but have to admit it does sound interesting.

That would be a nice way to shave, if you had the privacy, in the summer that is.

I usually shave in the shower. In the summertime I shave about once a week In the wintertime it is less often. Of course I do have help with the hard to reach places, this is very enjoyable. Afterwards I usually use Jergens naturally smooth lotion this makes the hair finer and less noticable, it also lengthens the time between shaves.

I usually shave before my shower. First I apply a warm wash cloth to the area, then I will use a schick triple blade razor and shaving cream. I have also found that ladies razors seem to do a better job, especially the ones that have wire wrapped around the blade, prevents a lot of nicks and cuts.

randynkim, I have not tried the shick quad blade, I use the Gillette mach 3. The mach 3 gives a real close shave, but you have to be careful because it is very easy to cut yourself.

I have been shaving for for the past three years (Left the ex, decided I needed a change and didnt want to cut my long hair so went with the shorter hairs ;). My daughter has been shaving on and off for the last 4-5 years (since she started having a need to shave). We are now looking at home electrolysis systems. Anyone tried any?
I read in the forums on tweezing aswell, all I can say is 'Owch'. I may try it though, I like the idea of smooth for a month :D I have to shave every other day to stay relativly bumpfree.

I shave at least 3 times a week. Usually with a baby powder and an electric razor. Sometimes I'll use a triple blade razor to get some stray hairs around the "tuff spots" under and around the scrotum. About "bumps" or rashes. I'll use Neosporin or another "first aid antibotic ointment". instead of after shave lotion. Between shaves I'll sometimes use a hand cream on the shaved area. No bumps or rashes!

I haven't used the quattro on my pubes but it works great for my beard. I don't knick myself as much they have the wires accross the blades.
