So, I have been waiting for years to be naked at home. My kids have been growing up with a constant parade of friends in and out....some of whom don't knock.
Well.....today I get home and there is nobody here. I check with my wife and find out that my daughter won't be home for several hours. I am home to work on a ceiling repair and decide to do it naked since I have the place to myself.
The downside of naked ceiling repair is the need to clean drywall compound off my skin after. The upside of naked ceiling repair is that there is no need to clean drywall compound off my clothing.
It's nice to have the place to myself.

I am for naked chores for sure but anything where i need tools I prefer to put something on.

Well I'm working through renos on 2 bathrooms and a laundry room. Moving toilets and wall plugs, building a new shower. I've been doing it mostly naked.
My wife is used to seeing me working naked around the house. She commented the other day that it's a win win for her, she has very little laundry and she's got her very own naked handy man.

I wore a tool belt, on occasion, and have always done most of my home repairs, inside and outside, in the nude.
I stopped wearing a tool belt and went to a soft side tool box because the tools in my belt kept "whacking" me. The handle on the hammer was especially ... uncomfortable!
Our current home has it's upsides and downsides for doing repairs "outside" in the nude. I can do about 80% of it in the nude but we still have a few areas where I don't have the privacy I need. By next year, we hope to have a completely private backyard and then ... I'll be able to do all repairs outside like I want to!
Loves being naked. Plays well with others!

I've always done my home repairs in the nude. From painting, to changing out light fixtures, to laying tile, laying wood laminate flooring, etc, I do them all in the nude.

I had my son tell me a couple years ago when I was building a deck by the pool one weekend, "Dad are you sure you should be using that power saw naked?" LOL

The safety warnings on almost all power tools say to avoid wearing loose fitting clothing so they don't get caught in the tool. Based on that, it seems to me that no clothes at all is much safer.

I was projecting on a piece of furniture. I was careful using the drills, sander and saw but didn't think anything about "safety or cover" when I began slapping on the paint stripper!
Good think the hot tub was close by!

I try to do as many projects as I can, inside the house, nude. To me it is more comfortable working nude than having the restrictions of clothing or clothing getting in the way. Unfortunately at this time I do not have the needed privacy to do nude chores outside. With the landscaping I am planning, hopefully within the next few years I will have that privacy.

A tool belt, whether transparent or not, protects you from things such as pockets -- which only come with (Ugh!) pants!

Much more productive working nude. Some may disagree but my friend is aware of our nudist lifestyle and is respectful. He recently asked me to do some work at his home while no one was there.
I did the /12 dozen projects ... all in the nude. Got them all done and was on the road in about 3 hours. It was a pain in the butt to get dressed just to walk out to the truck and pack up. But I did get in, stripped down and then text him that I was done!

I finished my basement almost totally nude. The times I wasn't was when I had someone helping me for whatever reason. I'd say it was about a 70% nude project. I did wear shoes though. I also think that while I was in the buff, I got peeped. Had my back turned to the window and shadows ran across the wall. Whoever it was, I hope they got an eye full. LOL

My ex and I used to do all our decorating/DIY in the nude when we could. Had to be a bit careful on a ladder though as we would have been seen over the fences. Many a time I have been seen working, decked out in just boots, gloves and goggles.
We did get caught out once when one of the ex's workmates came round with some materials (we'd forgotten he was coming round) and he suddenly appeared through the back gate while we were bent over fixing some timber decking. Must have been one helluva sight!
Naked is the only way to do work about the house in a WA summer.
