Hi, i am new to this forum, have been a nudist since i was 12 and enjoy being naked.
I visited a nudist beach a year ago but havent let anyone know. I was surprised how many people go. I was wondering when people start visting again. Do they visit as soon as its summer or mid summer or is there a certain month. Sorry to be so vaig but im new to it all thanks

The best time to go to a nude beach is whenever you can. Of course weather has a big influence on comfort level, but people visit nude beaches at least as regularly as textiles. Seasonal visits vary by area. You are reaching out to an international audience, so the responses will be varied.

thankyou, sounds like some good advice. i am only 18 i read some of you would like to introduce some of the younger generation.
i don't know anyone in my area that is a nudist at my age and when i visited a nudist beach i didnt see anyone under about 30!! where are they lol, do they not enjoy it?

I am not sure where in the US you are, but don't give up. There are several college naturist websites and other resources for 'younger' nudists like yourself. Good Luck!

There are no official closing or opening dates for nude beaches. People will go whenever the temperatures will permit, and the warmer the weather the more people will go. Welcome to a great lifestyle, settle back and make yourself at home.

When it gets warm enough, rather than depend on who is already there, why not go to the beach with your usual friends?
Many moons ago, when I was 18, my friendship group was mixed nude/textile. I also went through explaining that, since I was a kid, I'd always preferred not to wear clothes in the shower or at the beach, that "nudist" or "clothing-optional" beach just means "no minimum dress code", and so, if they could be ok with going somewhere that I could be comfortable, they could also wear whatever they felt like -- no pressure.
Everybody's heads were full of the usual preconceptions, but they agreed to do some "field testing" and of course after a few minutes there the first time, everybody just settled into a normal beach day. Eventually some "converted", some partially, some not -- the important thing was that it was the normal gang of summer beach friends and we'd found a way for everybody to be comfortable.
It was fun! And ultimately no big deal!

nudist-teen, too cold and snowny for a trip to the clothes opt. beach till about May or so. You might want try the approach, i often invite close friends to go seeing its optional and their choice if they so desire to give going nude a try. They wont get arrested if they dont. It a choice everyone makes on their own in their own time. They may surprise you,at least you tried.

hi went to visit my local nude beach today was quite cold but blue sky and sun.
i saw 1 lady topless then stripped completley but many textiles were on the beach for some reason.
i went to a quiet spot and stripped off for a bit then wondered round and decided to pack up and go, again too cold but least im keen:)

Where are you located? Im planning a short trip to Tampa, to get some nude time in for a day... Also off to Aruba on the 20th of April, so will find my favorite little spot :)
There are other o th eisland, but I can never seem to find it? Baby Beach? ha ha

I wanted to go to the beach this weekend, but the weather was a little on the cool side and overcast. I plan on going to San Onofre next weekend. In regards to young people at the beach, there really aren't many. I'm 25 and am often the youngest person there. Last time I went, I brought a female friend of mine who had never been to a nude beach before, but she wanted to come with me. Of course I got naked, but she left her bathing suit on and we played some volleyball as well. We are going this coming weekend and hopefully she will get over her textile ways.

Past the refinery on the way to Baby Beach. Turn right at the anchor and take the first left to Bachelor Beach or take a left at the anchor just beyond the wind surfers at Boca Grande.
Have fun. I hope to be down that way in April as well.
